Joseph
Senior Project Manager
Joseph (Joey) is a Senior Project Manager at Contour, where he says that each day is a bit different from the next. His current projects include the management of construction and alignment of roadways, roadway improvements, new neighborhood developments, and more.
Prior to Contour, he worked as a superintendent at Haselden Construction where he managed multiple civil construction and building projects. Before that, Joseph worked on many large-scale civil projects in interstate highway construction, with projects ranging from large-scale concrete paving on airport runways, to highways, to bridges, parking improvements. Several of which were national ACPA Gold Award recipients.
Among his favorite projects was the reconstruction of an active military runway at Buckley Airforce Base in Aurora. Another was leveraging a 500-ton crane to lift and install a fully-built pool on top of a luxury apartment building in Cherry Creek.
Joseph is an OSHA 30, Advanced Stormwater Manager, NCCER Site Safety Supervisor.
As an outdoor lover, there is no place Joseph would rather be than Colorado. He enjoys fishing, hiking, golfing, hunting, and hopes to pass this passion along to his two children.
Fun Fact?
Joey was part of a team managing taxiway and runway expansions at a very active Denver International Airport. The challenges he learned there helped shape his experience and approach towards large civil projects moving forward. His work still stands today and he enjoys pointing it out to his kids when traveling.
