Sara handles Contour’s financial, administrative and human resources functions, along with overall business management. Prior to co-founding Contour, Sara was the assistant director of international accounting for CH2MHill, a global engineering company. 

 

Sara's more than 20 years of corporate accounting experience in the construction and engineering industries helped shape her decision to co-launch Contour.

 

Among her most interesting projects was the design, procurement, and engineering of a nuclear plant in Abu Dhabi, providing her with invaluable experience working on an international mega-program from day one. As a business manager of the multi-billion dollar project, she collaborated with all business functions from across the program to not only stand-up the project but also the Emirates Nuclear Energy Company, ENEC. Later she became fully integrated into the client's (ENEC) team where she was responsible for the oversight of the shared service and general ledger accounting. Major accomplishments for the brand new team were implementing Oracle fully integrated modules and establishing the supporting functional procedures with strict Nuclear quality requirements. The experience was an amazing opportunity to work directly with many Emirates and other ex-pats with whom she built lasting global friendships.
